Jon WinkelVice ChairmanJon has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board. Jon joined Long Lines in 1978 as the Outside Plant Supervisor and worked his way up to President and CEO in 1989. He played a key role in the development of the MCI call centers in the 1980s. He is an active community member, having most recently served as chairman of the 2011-2012 Siouxland United Way Campaign. He has served more than 30 years as a member of the Sergeant Bluff Fire Department, including a term as Fire Chief. He currently serves on the boards of Pioneer Bank, WITCC Foundation, Siouxland Chamber of Commerce and Camp High Hopes. Jon was inducted into the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame in 2005 and was awarded the Service Above Self Award from the Sioux City Rotary Club in 2006. A supporter of Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warrior Athletics, Jon has also previously served on school board. Jon earned his degree in Business Administration from Morningside College in 1973 and also served in the U.S. Air Force in Advanced Electronics Training. |

John GerdelmanJohn is currently Chairman at Overture Networks, the preferred provider of Carrier Ethernet Solutions. Previously, John served as an Executive Vice President at MCI Corporation, President and Chief Executive Officer of USA.Net Inc., Regional Director at American Hospital Supply, Managing Member of Mortonsgroup, LLC, and successfully emerged Abovenet from Chapter 11 bankruptcy as CEO. John also served as the Executive Chairman of Intelliden Corporation, a company which he co-founded that provided software solutions to automate network change management and enforce business policy in network operations which was sold to IBM in April, 2010. John currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Brocade Corporation, a leader in providing comprehensive network solutions that allow organizations to transition smoothly to a virtualized world where applications and information reside anywhere, and Owens and Minor, the leading provider of medical and surgical supplies. |

Doug MaineDoug graduated from Temple University with a degree in Communications in 1971 and went on to earn his MBA in Finance from Hofstra University in 1978. He worked at MCI, a telecommunications company from 1978-1998. Doug worked at IBM from 1998-2005 first as Chief Financial Officer, then as General Manager of IBM.com, and currently serves as General Manager of Consumer Products Industry. |

Jeff MeskinJeff is a Co-Managing Partner of BBH Capital Partners alongside Joseph P. Donlan and JP Paquin. He is also a Principal of The 1818 Mezzanine Funds. He is actively involved in sourcing, executing and monitoring investments. In addition, he has monitored investments for BBH’s 1818 Funds and has been a senior member of BBH’s mergers and acquisitions practice. Prior to joining BBH in 2002, Jeff previously worked at Morgan Keegan & Company and started his career at Coopers & Lybrand. Jeff graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin and received a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. |

Mike SalsburyMike is an attorney with nearly 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, both in private practice and with MCI. He has extensive experience with inter-carrier agreements and equipment supply arrangements, arranging licenses and permits, and handling contract negotiations and agreements. |

Charlie ShufeldtCharlie currently serves as a senior advisor to BBH Capital Partners and also assists BBH's M&A Advisory and Investment & Wealth Management businesses. Charlie started his career in 1976 at BBH in New York. In 1984, Charlie joined the predecessor of SunTrust Bank and started a corporate finance business for the commercial bank. Throughout his career at SunTrust, Charlie held senior positions in corporate banking, capital markets and investment banking. Charlie has served as Chairman of the District Committee 7 of the NASD and the ABA Securities Association. Charlie currently serves on the board of Frapag USA and Telarix, Inc. |

John WalshJohn is a Principal of the Funds. He is actively involved in sourcing, executing and monitoring investments. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Windward Petroleum, Inc., Durcon Laboratory Tops, Inc., and KODA Distribution Group, Inc. Prior to joining The 1818 Mezzanine Funds in 2001, John managed BBH’s Boston-based mergers and acquisitions group and spent several years as a middle market, senior debt lender for BBH in Boston. John worked in the Project Finance Lending Group at Bank of New England and at Bain & Co. before joining BBH in 1991. John graduated from Dartmouth College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. |
